| "Axe" Pendants These "axe" pendants were crafted from rare and stunning pieces of agatized dinosaur bone. They are identified as "axe" pendants because the shape is my representation of ancient Indian hand axes. Most of the pendants shown here are the same size, approximately 2” x 1-1/16" x 1/4". The smaller version (Item 330) is 1-7/8" x 13/16" x 3/16". Each piece has a deep, rich polish on both sides with a 2-mm polished girdle. Each side was carved in a “saddle” shape, where the two ends are higher than the middle and the middle is higher than the adjacent sides. Please note that I do not include a chain with the sale of individual pieces. "Spear" Pendants Spear pendants have a mid-line ridge on the front side and a slightly domed back side. |

| JEWELRY
PIECES Jewelry pieces are fun to work with and offer a unique variety of shapes and colors. As with all my work, only the finest material is used. All earrings and pendants are polished on both sides with a thin polished girdle that separates the two sides. Twist pendants are three or four sided pieces where each face is curved, much like a spiral staircase or helix. Twist earrings have one left-handed and one right-handed stone to make a beautifully symmetrical set. Jewelry is mounted with a choice of gold-fill, silver, or surgical steel. If an earring is mounted in silver and you would prefer gold-fill, or visa-versa, notify me and I can make the change for a nominal fee. Pendants cannot be changed because the finding is glued into the stone. Gift cases are typically used for shipping to protect the stones. Although I specialize in agatized dinosaur bone, I also enjoy working with other fine materials, such as Australian Chrysoprase, Montana Jade, Snowflake Obsidian, Aventurine, Utah Agate, and many others. | These
massive pendants are not for the faint of heart! Made from premier
quality agatized dinosaur bone, they make a statement identifying
the wearer as brave, courageous, awesome, ahead of the game, and a
leader!! As a note, the green pendant is exceptionally unique. Green bone itself is a rare color to obtain, but a piece like this one is beyond rare. Many beautiful reds are available, but the green will only be seen in photos. The "Claw Pendant" is best seen from all sides, since it is not your typical cabochon shape. It has a domed front, a recurved back, and a polished girdle. A hole is drilled in the top to mount with a silver or gold anchor ring (screw eye) and jump ring. |
